What Is The Scholarship?

The Hatfield Foundation Scholarship is a program for first-generation college students and provides a $5,000 scholarship along with educational resources and mentoring to recipients.

How Do I Apply?

Click Here to access the online application. When you register, our system will first make sure you're qualified by asking you just a few questions. After being qualified, you may fill out your application and submit it completely online. You may save your progress and come back to complete things later if you need more time.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

In order be eligible, you must:
  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be applying to 4 year college
  • Neither parent may hold a bachelor's degree or higher
  • Hold a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Have participated in a college readiness program (like AVID)
  • Have taken the SAT or ACT
  • Have an EFC (from Student Aid Report) less than or equal to $25,000

How Can The Funds Be Used?

The funds may be used for tuition and fees charged by your college and we'll coordinate those payments directly with your institution. The funds may also be used to reimburse you for the cost of books.

How Are The Funds Disbursed?

The scholarship funds are dispersed in fourths each September over a 4 year period.
